Young Westminster Foundation (YWF) is delighted to announce that we have awarded 8 new grants, totalling £55,433.00.
The grants all support voluntary sector organisations working with children and young people that are based in Church Street. This funding has been made possible through the Church Street partnership: a partnership between Westminster City Council and Mount Anvil.
The YWF Church Street Partnership Community Fund grants, are fostering education, safety, sports, and enriching experiences for young people, ultimately helping to empower the community’s next generation.
Each awarded organisation has brought a unique project to the table, addressing the needs and aspirations of Westminster’s children and young people.
The organisations and their projects are:
- The Cockpit / London Youth Theatre: Live Train
- Central London Youth Development Trust (CLYD): Family Summer Trip
- Floating Classroom: Education Programme
- Khady’s Dream CIC: Understanding Exploitation – empowering young people to stay safe
- London Basketball Association: LBA Church Street BOOST
- London Tigers: Kicking Together
- Marylebone Bangladeshi Society: Inclusive Sports Project
- Westminster Wheels (GroundWork): Westminster Wheels and Feathers Youth Cycle Hub
