Membership Requirements

We are always open to welcoming new youth organisations into our membership. It is completely free to join YWF.

Before registering, please ensure you meet the following requirements:

1. You are a not-for-profit organisation with clear and transparent charitable & social objectives

By this we mean:You don’t have to be a registered charity or CIC to be a member of YWF but you have to have a clear charitable purpose and be committed to high governance standards and effective leadership.

2. You deliver services for children and young people (aged 0-25) in the London borough of Westminster

By this we mean:You provide a regular provision for children and young people in Westminster and have a track record of delivery in the borough.

3. Your organisation can demonstrate commitment to working towards effective governance and quality standards

By this we mean:We encourage our members to follow good practice as set out in the Charity Governance Code. In particular, we are committed to safeguarding children and young people and expect our members to have robust Safeguarding procedures in place.

4. You are passionate about collaboration and contributing to the YWF mission and vision for supporting brighter futures for young people in Westminster

By this we mean:You attend our regular member meetings, complete our annual member survey, work in partnership with your local Youth Hub, share up-to-date information about your service and you are committed to supporting youth voice.
