YWF at the Marylebone Festival

By 9th June 2026News

It’s the Marylebone Summer Festival on Sunday 14 June, 11am-5pm.

If you’re free that day we’d love to see you! Just head along to the Paddington Street Gardens South and you will find our stall. You can have a go at fencing, beat-the-clock with our football challenge, get a glitter tattoo or make a beautiful badge to take home – or all four!

The YWF team will be there all day – as well as a group of skilled fencing instructors from North Paddington Youth Club.

We hope you can join us.

Meet our special guest: Oliver Lam-Watson
From 2.45pm we are hosting a visit from a very special guest.

Paralympic fencing champion Oliver Lam-Watson is going to make a presentation on stage and meet families at our stall. If you’ve got a question you’d like to ask Oliver please do pop by to say hello!

Oliver has just returned from the Para Fencing World Cup where he got a new medal to add to his impressive collection, having won bronze in the team para fencing.

Oliver lives and trains in Westminster, and he’s got a very inspiring story about how he got where he is today. He’s really friendly too! We hope you’ll be able to meet him.

More fun at the Festival
The Marylebone Festival is a brilliant day out for the whole family.

There’s live music to entertain you, fairground rides, mini golf, the Bark in the Park dog show, shopping, food, drink and lots, lots more. Plus a tombola prize draw with some very special prizes donated by local businesses, with all proceeds going to YWF.

YWF has been chosen as the charity for the whole festival which means that takings from lots of rides, activities and Bark in the Park, are being donated to us.

With this generous support we can get funding to where it’s needed most, supporting Westminster’s children’s and youth sector organisations to run activities, to offer play and learning, to create opportunities and build confidence.

We are very grateful to the fantastic team at Howard de Walden Estates for selecting us as the Marylebone Festival charity and doing so much to help grow a community of support for all children and young people in Westminster.
